An opening stand of 108 between Rory Francis and Liam Hester helped secure a 68 run victory against Warborough. Aston reached 144 for 6 off their 20 overs with Carrick Dunbar also ending 31 not out.
Aston’s tight early bowling from Ben Ball (2 overs for 4 runs) and Carrick Dunbar (2 overs, 7 runs, 2 wickets) being backed up with excellent fielding soon put Warborough under pressure. Joseph Davies well judged high boundary catch off of Jacob Fendoms bowling removed dangerman James Firth for 36 runs. Aston took regular wickets there on in and eventually bowled the opposition out for 76. Lewis North pick of the bowlers (2 overs, 6 runs, 4 wickets). Wickets each for Jules Hamlin, Benedict Hamilton and Rory Francis secured the victory.
